One photograph of an over-shot, under-appreciated London landmark may look to be another shoe in for the tourist guide leaflet...
However, I want to remind you that often times for the photographer, it isn't so much about the subject in the photograph itself, as it is about the emotions attacted to the moment in which the photograph was made.
Anyhoo, not that I haven't liked the other London photos, but I much prefer these tones. There's just something about that yellow.. it works in some photos, but.. But! In this photo the more natural, blueish tones look really good. I really like it.
I haven't seen a photo like this of the bridge before, I really like the tight crop, and it's close enough to show some of those amazing little details in the architecture.
And did I mention the tones yet?! Love it.

Thanks for your curiousity
I was just... I remember feeling so overwhelmed with the situation, so many joyous feelings actually being along the Thames in London, just walking. It had seemed so surreal, and occured that no matter what I did... I just couldn't come to earth with it. The scene of long walks through London at night... Love Actually, Bridget Jones... Notting Hill etc.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
