I've been encouraged to start submitting a few of my aeroplane photos and I figure that since aviation photography & just aviation in general, is such a passion of mine that I really should so let this start them off
This is China Airlines' 747-409, registration B-18206. They're callsign is Dynasty so hopefully the title makes a little more sense now They arrive into YVR, Vancouver International, at 8:25am so it's always a bit of a push getting out for their arrival - means I'm up by 7 to get out there but believe me, when you see it arrive - you remember why you love being up for it. She's seen here making the turn onto taxiway Mike off Mike 5 after arriving 08L.

Very beautiful plain portrait! Well composed, it all fits in withing the border. The background fits very well too: nice with the smoke and sunrise atmosphere! Very good photo

Ah, anyway Very nice plane portrait! Well composed, it all fits in the border. Cool background too, the smoke and the early sunrise atmosphere create a good atmosphere! Awesome photo
Well, lots of deliciousness going on here.!!! Firstly, how close are you??? you're so lucky! We couldnt get within 600 meters of a plane! I love how you managed to fit the whole thing in...how considerate of her to turn up her wing tips I love the morning colours in the background and the frosty grass...it's all splendid, well done!
Hehe! I took this from up on a step ladder (of course) and am about honest to goodness 20, 30 metres from taxiway Mike and the runway obviously isn't much further over from that so we're very lucky to have such a 'spotter friendly' airport Thank you for the lovely comment
Nice picture, i like the contrast between the sky and the dark runway covered with snow. Im going to have to post some of the photos i have from Sydney airport, planes land every 2 mins in Sydney.
If you like Qantas planes and 747-400's then this is the place.
